1. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling an appointment, using our mobile service, or admitting your pet to Animal Medical Centre, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Veterinary Services & Outcomes
No Guarantees:
While we provide the highest standard of care, veterinary medicine is not an exact science. We cannot guarantee the outcome of any treatment, surgery, or therapy.
Estimates:
Any cost estimates provided for surgeries or hospitalization are approximations. Unforeseen medical complications may result in additional costs, which you agree to pay.
3. Appointments & Cancellations
Clinic Visits:
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled slot. Late arrivals may be asked to reschedule.
Cancellations:
We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Frequent “no-shows” may be required to prepay for future appointments.
Mobile Vet Service:
For home visits, please ensure a safe parking space is available. If our team cannot access your location or the pet is inaccessible, a call-out fee will still apply.
4. Payment Policy
All fees are due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards.
For surgeries and hospitalization, a deposit of 50% is required upon admission, with the balance due at discharge.
We do not offer credit or installment plans unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by management.
5. Pet Behavior & Safety
Aggressive Pets:
For the safety of our staff, you must inform us if your pet has a history of biting or aggression. We reserve the right to muzzle any animal or refuse service if it poses a danger to our team.
Leash & Carrier:
All dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in a secure carrier while in the clinic waiting area.
6. Boarding Policy
Vaccinations:
To protect all guests, proof of current vaccinations (especially Parvo/Distemper for dogs and Flu/Enteritis for cats) is mandatory before check-in.
Parasites:
If your pet is found to have ticks or fleas upon arrival, we will administer a mandatory treatment at your expense to prevent infestation of our facility.
Abandonment:
If a pet is not picked up within 10 days of the scheduled discharge date and no contact is made, Animal Medical Centre reserves the right to handle the animal in accordance with local animal welfare laws, which may include rehoming.
7. Liability
Surgery/Anesthesia:
You acknowledge that all surgical and anesthetic procedures carry inherent risks, including the risk of death. You consent to these procedures and hold Animal Medical Centre harmless from liability in the absence of gross negligence.
Personal Property:
We are not responsible for lost leashes, blankets, or toys left at the clinic.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Karachi.
